Electric Van Conversions: Everything You Need to Know
What Are Electric Van Conversions?
You can convert your electric vehicle (EV) just like you did your diesel or petrol version to have a van fit for purpose. At Maxus, for example, we convert electric vans into milk floats and other commercial vans. Our EVs are the ideal vehicle when you want to make a green transition without negative consequences for your business operations. With an eDeliver 3 or eDeliver 9 Maxus EV conversion, you get the outstanding performance your business deserves.
The Advantages of Electric Van Conversions
The advantages of electric van conversions are many. You get the bespoke van your business needs while utilising the government’s plug-in van grant (PIVG) for a better vehicle price. You also don’t have to pay road user charges when you do business in London’s ultra-low emission zone (ULEZ) and other clean air or low-emission zones around the UK.
Navigating the Considerations of Electric Van Conversions
At Maxus, careful thought goes into the electric van conversions we offer in the UK. We want to make your work life easier by giving you a van designed for high payloads, maximum load space, and driver comfort and control. That is why we offer five types of EV conversions to customers, whether an SME requires two electric vans or a large business needs a fleet of vans.
Maxus eDeliver 3 Milk Float The first electric float was used in 1932, but our Maxus milk float conversion is the perfect electric van for modern local milk delivery routes. The milk float has a range of up to 240 km (151 miles) on a single charge, based on the results of the Worldwide Harmonised Light Vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP). The heated seats are also a winner on cold winter mornings.
Maxus eDeliver 3 Aduro XS Sliding Sides This electric commercial van has sliding doors on both sides for easy loading and unloading. It has a payload capacity of up to 920 kilogrammes (including body) and a range of up to 344 city km (213 miles) on a single charge.
Maxus eDeliver 9 Crew Van A versatile van designed for transporting people and cargo, it can seat up to 9 passengers and has a generous cargo space. Its WLTP city range is 288 km (179 miles).
Maxus eDeliver 3 Chassis Cab This van has a payload capacity of 840 to 1095kg (excluding the body). It offers eco and standard driving modes, but the driving range depends on the selected body style.
Maxus eDeliver 9 Low Floor Luton A stylish yet sturdy and practical van, it has a low loading height and a spacious cargo area for easy transportation. The driving range also depends on the selected body style for the electric van conversion.
