As a well established, family run business with an excellent reputation, we are well known in the local area with our 49 year Nissan association, as well as covering all aspects of vehicle services from MAXUS Commercial vehicles and used vehicle sales to our comprehensive onsite after sales offerings including servicing, body shop and recovery.
Our focus now is on pre owned vehicles, this role is for a dedicated used vehicle sales person, joining our established team as we continue to grow our used car proposition in this exciting time for the business.
The Opportunity
As a Sales Executive for pre-owned vehicles you will help to develop and grow customer relationships (in person and online) by demonstrating your unrivalled knowledge of our stock vehicles, new model launches and industry trends.
You’ll be required to create video walk-arounds for distance sales, administer test drives, part exchange appraisals and finance applications to support the customer throughout the entire buying process.
A massive part of working with JS Holmes is working as part of the team to maintain a tidy forecourt, take used vehicle photographs for the website, ensuring correct vehicle information and pricing is displayed and maintaining our excellent standards in all areas of our work.
What we need you to bring to the party
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work to deadlines effectively
- Great communication
- A passion for customer service
- Retail experience in or out of the Automotive sector
No Automotive experience? No problem. This role is not just for experienced automotive retail executives. We encourage both seasoned experts and ambitious newcomers to apply.
What we will offer in return
- Basic salary £20,000 plus commission (OTE £40,000 - £50,000)
- Great employer’s pension contributions (8% employee, 5% employer)

- Working pattern that encourages work life balance with an average of 5 days per week and every other weekend off. We are Closed Sunday, so no Sunday working!!
